Goa Shipyard Limited - Diploma Trainee

Goa Shipyard Limited, a Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defense, is presently engaged in the activities of designing and building special purpose modern sophisticated ships for the Navy , Coast Guard, Commercial and Export segment. The Company is looking for the following personnel.

Post:

Diploma Trainee 

Qualification:

Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering (03 years full time course) is essential. Ability to work on AutoCAD is desirable.

Age Limit : 33 years including age relaxation as on 30/09/2012

Experience:

(a Benefits for posts such as DA, HRA and other allowances as applicable to the grade as per rules will be payable.

(b) Candidates having more experience in the relevant field and otherwise fulfilling the eligibility criteria may be considered for age relaxation at the discretion of the Management.             

(c) Candidates working in Govt. /Quasi Government/Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel or produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview without which the candidates will not be interviewed.

(d) Outstation candidates called for interview for the post at Sl. No. 1 will be reimbursed to and fro II tier AC rail fare by shortest route from GSL to their usual place of residence on production of proof of journey as per rules of the Company. Candidates called for written test and interview for the post at Sl. No. 2, 3, 4 & 5 will be paid to and fro IInd sleeper rail fare by shortest route on production of proof of journey as per rules of the Company.

 (e) Management reserves the right to raise the eligibility criteria for shortlisting the applications. 

 (f) Applications from candidates not applying in the prescribed format of application shall be liable for rejection.

(g) PWD Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will be given further age relaxation as per government directives.

(h) Age & experience of the candidates may be relaxed, by CMD, for deserving cases depending on the requirement of the organization.

(i) Applications received after the last date shall not be considered.

(j) No applications shall be entertained through e-mail or any other electronic medium
